THINK Hybrid Spaces – Experimental Dinner Between Real And Digital
Interactive event at DE:HIVE Game Hub Berlin to experimentally explore boundaries and potentials of hybrid-real theater spaces.
While we develop and prepare a recipe together on-screen and on-site from ingredients we have brought with us, we discuss the potential of hybrid-real spaces for theater with guests Franziska Ritter and Pablo Dornhege from the research project "Im/material Theatre Spaces" of the Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft.
The potluck dinner serves as a playful framework - a meeting with friends to which ingredients are brought and a dish is cooked spontaneously. In a hybrid spatial arrangement of game engine, green screen studio, streaming and live event, can we cook together, share ingredients digitally and agree on recipes and preparation? We invite you to try just that with us!
From different locations, you can become co-players in different roles, interacting and having a say - while developing new ideas for hybrid-real theater spaces. Bon appetit.
THINK Hybrid Spaces was an event of the project cross:play at the DE:HIVE Game Hub of HTW Berlin and was supported by the European Regional Development Fund, Innovative Potential Culture and the Senate Department for Culture and Europe.
